Best bet for the weekend? ...Sunday is New Year's Eve!

For the big bash, head out to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds for Les Claypool's New Year's Eve Hatter's Ball. Claypool, of Primus fame, will be joined on stage by The Coup, which Billboard recently dubbed the best hip-hop band of the decade, as well as some jazz legends from the New Orleans Social Club. Plus, there's plenty more. From partying down at clubs with local favorites such as The Pulsators and the Pat Jordan Band, to a more refined evening of dinner and dancing at places like Madrona Manor and the Lodge at Sonoma, local celebrations run the gamut:
