Yesterday was so hot, I was so cranky, and everything seemed to be going so, so wrong. And I kept putting off turning on my computer and opening the newspaper because both things always seem to bring more bad news. So, what a great surprise it was when I finally took the plunge, only to find out that Armstrong Woods and other State Parks have probably been spared the budget ax. Yeah! It’s a relief to know that when I feel overwhelmed by the news of the day, I still have Armstrong Woods to go to for a boost to my spirit.
