This weekend starts our third and final spring semester 2008 planetarium show "Our Star the Sun" which runs through Sunday, May 25.

Fishing in the City, For Kids at Howarth Park
30 minute “Learn to Fish” clinics will cover all the basics. Loaner rods available. Children should be 5 years and older and must be accompanied by an adult. Tales of Christopher Robin's friends and their adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood have delighted children of all ages for generations. The group presents traditions from Guerrero, Michoacan, Baja California, and its home state. With Aztec headdresses, twirling skirts, stomping feet, and clanging knives, a Quetzalli performance offers moments of spectacle, but its charm is mostly low key and friendly, like that of a small-town fiesta.
