    The 18th annual Cotati Accordion Festival is a two-day event of nonstop accordion music to benefit local youth groups. Highlights include dance parties in the polka tent, numerous accordion-related vendors, and the annual "Lady of Spain" ring, including the releasing of the doves.

    Santa Rosa Memorial Park will host The Wall That Heals, a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. The Walls feature all 58,000 names of American heroes lost during the Vietnam War and honors the more than 3 million American who served with the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War. The information booth and museum will be open from 8am to 8pm each day. Opening ceremony is on Thurs. Aug. 28th at 10am at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave.
