  • February 1: Cuentos del Arbol at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts

Spiritual Landscape (Chronicle Books, 2006).   • February 19 to 20 : View the Amgen Tour of California
    The Amgen Tour of California is one of the most anticipated professional cycling races in the United States, attracting more than a million spectators. Santa Rosa is the only city on the tour that has both a finish and a start. On February 19, Stage One goes from Sausalito to Santa Rosa. Stage Two on February 20 starts in Santa Rosa and ends in Sacramento. Spectators are invited to stake their claim along the race route and cheer as some of the world’s top cyclists (many of them Tour de France competitors) whiz by. Free. (213) 742-7576.

    This is spoken word series in which an eclectic mix of creative people share their stories around a specific theme. (Six people, six stories, 10 minutes each.) Storytime for Grownups launches on Valentine’s Day, with the theme: love, loss, lust and romance.
