Human Race of Sonoma County
The Human Race is a nationwide event, and in 2006 Sonoma County held the largest Human Race in the nation for the sixteenth year with over 9,000 participants and over $1,111,000 raised. This is the countys largest fundraiser with over 430 participating nonprofits. The race features a 3K and 10K run and walk through Howarth and Spring Lake Parks. Organizations and businesses recruit walkers, runners, pledge-gatherers to raise funds. Anyone can join the Human Race and raise money for their favorite community organization.

Snoopy: Not Just a Cool Joe Exhibit

113th Annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade Festival
One of Sonoma Countys most honored traditions and one of the oldest and largest events of its kind in Northern California. This year, Sonoma Countys own Food Network Star Guy Fieri is the Grand Marshal kicking off the parade with the theme of Life is Doggone Wild. The parade, as usual, is in downtown Santa Rosa. But the festival changes location to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds to coincide with Snoopys Joe Cool Summer Paint-Off which is taking place there.
