“The End of Polaroid” Exhibit
A few months ago, Polaroid announced the end of instant film. This show celebrates the history of Polaroid film and cameras with the art of Tod Brilliant. The opening is tonight from 6 – 9pm.

Human Race of Sonoma County
The Human Race is Sonoma County's largest cooperative fundraiser (and the largest Human Race in the nation), with over 430 participating nonprofits. Over 9,000 participants join together for a 3K and 10K walk and run through Howarth and Spring Lake Parks. Anyone can join the Human Race and raise money for their favorite community organization. Emerging Visions: Exhibition & Celebration
Enjoy art, music, fire dancers, and much more at this outdoor exhibition of over 30 of the nominated artists for the Sonoma County Artist Awards 2008. To support up and coming artists and build a broader arts sector for Sonoma County, the 2008 awards are designed to recognize and award individual emerging visual artists working in Sonoma County. This event is conjunction with the Sonoma County Artist Awards Opening Reception for the Emerging Visual Artist Winners Exhibit at the Sonoma County Museum, 6-8pm the same day.

Green Eco-Tour and Dog Hike
The 4-hour tour, for dogs and their people, is conducted by winegrower Jeff Kunde. It is a moderately strenuous hike that will take you from the Sonoma Valley floor up to 1,400 feet into the Mayacamas Mountain range. Fundraiser for Canine Companions and the Sonoma County Humane Society. Pre-registration is required. $20
