Update: The Hatter's Ball for 2007/2008 will be at the Fillmore in San Francisco.
Les Claypool’s Hatter’s Ball looks like it’s going to be THE New Year’s Eve celebration in the North Bay this year. Les (Mr. New Year)Claypool has been putting on big NYE shows all over San Francisco for the past 16 years. (You can view photos of last year's show
at the Fillmore.) But now he's bringing the party to Santa Rosa, and there are plans to make this an annual event.
--Primus bassist, Sonoma County resident, and all-round, fun-lovin’ Renaissance Man. The show was also organized by the folks who bring us the ever-popular Harmony Festival each summer.
The New Orleans Social Club

which Billboard recently named as the best hip-hop act of the decade. Plus DJ Malarkey,
well-loved by locals, will also be there.

For the past 16 years, he has been dreaming up all kinds of New Year’s Eve revelries throughout the Bay Area. This year, he’s bringing the celebration to Santa Rosa. The shows are known to be imaginative, wild and larger-than-life. (Much like the man himself.)
