  • April 1 : Occidental's Fools Day Parade
    Come join the annual march of silly folks and friends. Occidental's legendary Fools Day Parade begins at 1 p.m. and combines with the first Spring Fling, in which local merchants offer crafts and yummy food.

  • April 4 : Angelina Ballerina at the Library
    tories, crafts, and a visit from the Susan Lopez School of Ballet. Come dressed in your ballet costume! For children ages 3 and up accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

  • April 10 : "Super Tommy!" presented by Puppet Art Theater Co.
    What? No school this week? Come on out and enjoy this special spring break puppet show presented by Puppet Art Theater Company. By day Tommy is a mild mannered exotic cheese sales mouse, by night he’s Super Tommy! Join Super Tommy as he battles his arch nemesis, Chaos Kitty and his flunky Ratso the Rat in this spoof on the super hero genre. Suitable for all ages "

  • April 11 : Pet Parade
    Rec and Parks 19th annual beauty showcase for pets. Children 14 and under are invited to participate and enter their animals (no farm animals). Awards will be given for the smallest, biggest, funniest, best groomed, best costume, most interesting, best trick and kid/pet look-alike. All participants will receive a free train ride and ribbon.

  • April 12 : Boswick the Clown
    Send in the Clown! Join us in welcoming Boswick the Clown, with a fun-filled performance of magic, juggling, comedy, and lots of audience participation! For all ages.

  • April 13 – 15 : Santa Rosa Boat RV & Sport Show
    Family-friendly event includes free trout fishing, free kayaking, free pony rides for kids plus boats and RVs of all types.. Free seminars and a huge array of products in one setting.

  • April 14 : Kids Fishing Derby
    Kids under 15 can register for the fishing contest near the boat launch area of Lake Ralphine on the day of the event; children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No boat fishing for contest participants. The first 200 participants will receive souvenirs and prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories for different age groups.

  • April 18 : Alice by Whoopi Goldberg at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts
