Watch Free Outdoor Films in Sonoma County During the Summer Nights

Here is a listing of the FREE outdoor movies being shown throughout Sonoma County during the summer of 2008. You’ll want to bring something to sit on, low back chairs are fine, as well as sweaters (as you know, it gets chilly at night). Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

SANTA ROSA

Dates: Friday, June 13 and Friday June 27

In addition to the free movies, Howarth Park will be holding a “Family Fun Night” on these dates, and there will be discounted pony ($2.50), train, and carousel rides; as well as the animal barn ($1) and large inflatable jump houses ($2). Be entertained by free music, puppet shows and Bob the Clown. Bring your own dinner, or enjoy a BBQ meal from the snack bar. Rides run from 5pm to 8pm. At 8pm, head down to the lower lawn for a movie.

WINDSOR

On Tuesday nights, you can watch free family movies, and on Thursday nights you can catch a classic film following the Farmers’ Market.
