Locals look forward to their Dungeness Crab every winter. And during the weekends, especially in January, there’s sure to be a crab feed somewhere in the county. The all-you-can-eat feasts are often community fundraisers and they usually sell out. So look over this list of annual crab feeds and call early for tickets.


December 19 : Bodega Bay
Tides Wharf Restaurant. Chilled Dungeness crab, cocktail sauce, drawn butter, mustard sauce, pasta, green salad and French bread. Reservations needed. January 9 : Petaluma

Santa Rosa Middle School. All-you-can-eat crab, homemade clam chowder, pasta, salad, rolls, and dessert. Silent Auction with fabulous items, entertainment by SRMS drama department, video, and art displays by students. A cash 50/50 raffle drawing, and more. $40 adult, $75 couple, $25 kids. The Petaluma High School Athletic Booster Club. Redwood Empire Active 20-30 Club. Crab feed and cake auction. Crab, pasta, salad, cocktails, live entertainment, and a live cake auction. Ursuline High School’s 27th Annual Crab Feed and Auction --billed as the oldest and longest running Crab Feed in the North Bay.
