A Wine & Food Affair is the main event for the Russian River Wine Road. Attendees can drive from one winery to the next in the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys and sample not only the wines but the food that was prepared specifically to be paired with the perfect wine. The recipe for each of these winery dishes is included in the Tasting Along the Wine Road cookbook, and the book plus a logo wineglass are included in the ticket price. Plus, this event gives you a great excuse to go roaming through the back roads of this beautiful part of the county at a gorgeous time of year.
The 2007 event took place on November 3 and 4, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.; $60 for the weekend; $40 for Sunday only; $25 for the Designated Driver, (800) 723-6336.
