A Historical Landmark

The kilns and other ranch structures are recognized as landmarks by local, state and national historic registries. The kilns were used in the beginning of the 1900s to process hops that flourished on farms in this area. When the beer industry faltered in the 1950s due to an invasive virus, the kilns fell into disuse. In 1975 the historic barn and kiln were converted into a winery.
