Michele Anna Jordan contributes food, wine and restaurant articles to this website. Jordan has written 16 books to date, including The BLT Cookbook, The New Cook’s Tour of Sonoma, California Home Cooking and The World Is a Kitchen, newly released from Travelers Tales. She writes three columns a week for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat and is a regular contributor to Savor magazine and The Wine Enthusiast.
She has produced and hosted Mouthful: The Wine Country’s Most Delicious Hour, since 1995. The show is broadcast live on KRCB FM 90.9 and 91.1 FM in Sonoma County and free Mouthful podcasts are available at npr.org and itunes. Jordan also hosts a semi-weekly music show, Red Shoes Rodeo, on first and third Friday nights on KRCB and is the co-host of Crush Bites on KRSH 95.9FM on Tuesday mornings at 7:35 am.
Jordan studies and occasionally performs traditional Hawaiian hula and is currently working on several new projects, including a narrative bibliography of the works of M. F. K. Fisher, a memoir about her father and several books about food.
