Top 10 Bars and Clubs in Downtown Santa Rosa
These are the Top 10 bars and clubs in downtown Santa Rosa as chosen by About.com readers.
Last Day Saloon
This 8000 sq. ft nightclub features live music, dancing, comedy and DJs.
seVen Ultralounge
Seven is Santa Rosa's only "city-style" nightclub (meaning people actually dress up to go here). It's a welcome change from our typical ultra-casual ways. Some of the people involved in the club are Nabi Baitsaeed, former owner of Sonoma Coffee Company, who is now a managing partner of Seven, and Lisa Hemmenway who did the interior design.
Russian River Brewing Company
The popular beer pub offers up its own brew (Russian River IPA) on draft as well as many other beers plus food. There's outdoor seating on Fourth Street, right smack in downtown, and there's usually a happy group of revelers outside.
Tex Wasabis Rock-n-Roll Sushi BBQ
Technically, Tex Wasabis is a restaurant with a full bar. But, you wouldn't know it, especially on a weekend night. This is where the young and stylish come to mingle at the bar, see and be seen. The place has become even more popular since owner Guy Fieri won "The Next Food Network Star" competition and now hosts his own TV cooking show "Guy's Big Bite."
McNear’s Mystic Theatre
Located in Petaluma, the Mystic is a short drive away from Santa Rosa, and worth it. Many consider this to be the best music venue in the North Bay.
