The 8-acre nursery and demonstration garden in Sebastopol is absolutely beautiful and open to the public. The Sonoma Horticultural Nursery specializes in azaleas and rhododendrons, so make sure to take a special trip in the spring when they're in bloom. Bring a lunch, there are several picnic tables at the site. Also, make sure you have room in your car to take home some new plants. Everyone I know becomes inspired at this garden to transform their own yard into an oasis.
